4 DAYS SAFARI ITINERARY TO NYERERE AND MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam and Transfer to Nyerere National Park

• Morning: Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam. After clearing customs, meet your safari guide who will assist you with your luggage.

• Midday: Depart for Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours. Enjoy a packed lunch en route.

• Afternoon: Arrive at Nyerere National Park. Check into your lodge or tented camp. After settling in, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, hippos, and various bird species.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Nyerere National Park

• Afternoon: Head out for an afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park. Look out for large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species that inhabit this area.

Day 4: Morning Safari in Mikumi National Park and Departure
